Effective Immediately all scheduled state of Ohio programs and events are hereby suspended until further notification by the Department. Separate releases concerning individual event will be sent as needed with complete details.

Posts are encouraged to continue their other community work, they just cannot be open for the purpose of congregating for food and alcohol. Post meetings can still be held if they are under 50 people, no alcohol should be sold before or after.

Sick members should stay homes and members attending should be asked to check their temperatures before coming and if elevated stay home. In the department Constitution & By-Laws allows for business meetings to be hosted electronically and therefore posts should try to meet using an electronic option if possible. If assistance is needed setting up and electronic meeting please contact Don or Stefanie at department headquarters for assistance.

These efforts are being taken to protect our membership and eradicate this virus. If you have any other questions or concerns, please contact the department for resolution.
